Head Coach

Kirstin McCoy

Kirstin began competitive swimming at age five in Southern California and later swam at San Jose State University earning bachelor's degrees in Child Development and Psychology. She began her coaching career in 1999 as a head coach of a high school program in San Jose, CA, before continuing her coaching career in the San Diego area. She guided swimmers from early competitive levels to College State Championships, Zones, Sectionals, Futures, and Junior Nationals.

Swimming is also part of Kirstin's family life. She and her husband have lived around the world, including Japan twice, and have three sons, two who compete in swimming and one who plays hockey. In 2017 Kirstin founded Cedar Swim Club. She later took a sabbatical from coaching to focus on her family before returning to the sport.

As head coach of Cedar Swim Club, she focuses on building confident, hard-working athletes who learn to do difficult things, support their teammates, and carry those lessons beyond the pool.

Training Coach

Keri Munson

Keri started coaching swim in 2002 in Salt Lake. For several years, she had the opportunity to learn skills, drills, and technique from some of the most successful swim coaches in Utah. She especially loves working with young swimmers. Her favorite part of coaching is helping each swimmer experience that moment when all of the hard work that we have put into learning a new skill comes together for them in the water.

Assistant Coach

Reuben Dotson

Reuben is from Cedar City, where he swam for CSC, as well as Cedar High. He comes from a family of swimmers, who all did the same. He served a mission in St. Louis, Missouri. Soon after coming home he went back to SUU to study Kinesiology, and exercise science. He also returned to CSC and Cedar High, but this time to coach!

Assistant Coach

Addison Robinson

Addison started swimming competitively when she was 6-years-old. Addison has enjoyed competing at local, state and zones swim meets with SUSA and CSC. She has also swam on the Canyon View High School and Cedar High School swim teams, where she won state in the 200 and 500 freestyles her sophomore year. As of date, she is a record holder for both high schools and holds several records for CSC.

Addison loves the sport of swimming because she enjoys the hard training sessions and the feeling of competing and improving herself. Some of her favorite memories are overnight high school meets and attending zones in California and Washington.

She began teaching swim lessons when she was 14-year-old and was lucky enough to become a USA Swimming Junior Coach for CSC in 2023. She has enjoyed coaching the precomp swimmers and looks forward to watching each swimmer learn, improve and gain a love of the sport that she has loved so much.

Assistant Coach

Izabel Guzman

Belle is from Spanish Fork Utah and is studying psychology at SUU. She started competitive swimming when she was 9 years old and swam for Utah Valley Aquatics for 10 years. She competed at state meets for both UVRays and Spanish Fork High school.

Belle loves swimming because it has helped shape the type of person she is. It has taught her how to be resilient, a good teammate, and the power of determination. One of her favorite memories was getting the school record at state in the 4x100 relay with her sister.

She started teaching swim lessons when she was 16 and coaching shortly after. She enjoys coaching for CSC and watching the swimmers work hard and gain a love for the sport that she also loves.
